Designer Marc Jacobs is leaving the luxury brand Louis Vuitton. He has been working for 16 years at the front of the label and was the major influencer and decision-maker of the brand. One of the main reasons for the decision is Jacob’s intention to focus on its own brand. He leaves Louis Vuitton along with his business partner, Robert Duffy. Nicolas Ghesquiere, the former front-runner of Balenciaga, will probably take over his position. This message was not confirmed yet. “We’re doing what’s good for Marc and the future of his company – Marc’s wish is to take it to the next level.” said Michael Burke, CEO of Louis Vuitton.
