The new S-Class Concept by Mercedes
Mercedes-Benz recently introduced the “Concept S-Class Coupé” at the IAA 2013 in Frankfurt. The Coupé is powered by a V8 biturbo engine that produces 335 kW (455 hp).
“The flowing profile of the Concept S-Class Coupé embodies sensual clarity in a modern way”, which is reflected in the interior design as well. All elements seamlessly blend with the doors because of its wrap-around design. The ceramic white elements and the individual aluminum controls / accents create a contrast and accentuate “both the timeless modernity and avant-garde nature of the design and the claim of the Concept S-Class Coupé to ultimate exclusivity, high quality and perfection. In addition to that the famous “Intelligent Drive” technology allows the two integrated “camera eyes” to “get a three-dimensional view of the area up to about 50 metres in front of the vehicle while the “6DVision” can detect the position and movement of objects. The two “camera eyes” can see ahead of the car up to 500m.”
The official series models will probably be presented at the NAIAS 2014 in Detroit.
