The camera on the iPhone 7 is now two cameras, and a much appreciated upgrade. These new 12MP sensors deliver even better pictures at even better quality.
The new iPhone’s camera features optical image stabilisation, which counteracts blurry shots and hand movement. This allows up to 3x longer exposure times compared to the iPhone 6s. In addition to that, the larger aperture (ƒ/1.8) allows up to 50 percent more light into the camera sensor. Accordingly, the pictures and videos will be brighter and more detailed, even in low-light situations.
The enhanced image quality is shown on Apple’s example pictures.
