LEGO Trolls Tesla’s Cybertruck With Its Own Shatterproofed Version
Tesla’s long-awaited presentation of the Cybertruck met with a lot of memes concerning the stability and breakage of the windows. The last contender to climb into the ring is LEGO. The toy manufacturer posted a post on its Australian Facebook page to show fans how unbreakable the LEGO blocks are.
CEO Elon Musk, who introduced the Cybertruck last week in Los Angeles, said the truck had an “indestructible” design. The chief designer of Tesla, Franz Von Holzhausen, had thrown a sledgehammer on the outside of the truck without any visible damage. Things looked different when metal balls were thrown against the so-called unbreakable windows of the truck. Recently, Musk announced via Twitter that the sledgehammer that bounced against the door had actually broken the bottom of the glass, and released a new video in which Franz successfully threw the same steel ball against the window before launching.
Regardless, LEGO guarantees that its miniature “evolution of the truck” is not a gimmick and in fact shatterproof.
