The world’s very first Sky Pool is currently under construction in London and will be reality by 2018. At a height of approximately 35m this pool truly is something special and connects two apartments blocks, making it possible for its residents two swim across the 25m long Sky Pool to visit their neighbors. Featuring a spa, sun beds and a bar on both sides of the Sky Pool, the roof and its panoramic views over the Houses of Parliament and the London Eye, is probably the residents preferred abode. Especially since London is well known for its good weather ,-)

“My vision for the Sky Pool stemmed from a desire to push the boundaries in the capability of construction and engineering. I wanted to do something that had never been done before,” said Ballymore Group CEO Sean Mulryan, who had the idea for the pool. “The Sky Pool’s transparent structure is the result of significant advancements in technologies over the last decade. The experience of the pool will be truly unique; it will feel like floating through the air in central London.”

The first phase of apartments that hit the market in 2012 are all sold out, but you can register your interest for the second phase over at Embassy Gardens. Prices for apartments start at around $940.279.
