The new Jaguar F-Pace First Edition

    25. September 2015

The all-new Jaguar F-Pace First Edition is a true competitor to Porsche, BMW and Audi. With a length of approx. 4.7 meters it is even longer than i.e. an Audi Q5 or BMW X3. The First Edition is a tribute to the C-X17 study from 2013 and is a limited edition of 2,000 units of the special edition performance crossover in total. In conjunction with this equipment, the limited edition will only be available for one year after its introduction next year.

Featuring a light, stiff body structure, which comprises 80% aluminium, the sporty SUV is based on the design of the F-Type. The influence of the C-X17 study is particularly reflected in the F-Pace First Edition’s interior: “soft grain Windsor leather sports seats in light oyster with double contrast stitching and embossed houndstooth pattern, quality carpets and shiny black inlays with typical British houndstooth structure.”

In addition, the F-Pace First Edition features the Infotainment System InControl Touch Pro, which is based around a 10.2-inch touchscreen, with super sharp and responsive graphics, a powerful quad-core processor and solid-state drive, and runs on ultra-fast Ethernet. Up to eight devices can be connected to the vehicle’s super-fast wifi hotspot at one time.

The F-Pace First Edition will be available next year in two variants: the 300hp V6 diesel and the 380hp V6 compressor. Prices for each range from approx. €42,000 to €48,000.

We had the chance to take a closer look at the F-Pace First Edition at this year’s IAA Frankfurt:
