Elivs Presley’s Omega Timepiece sold at Auction
The auction house Antiquorum held a very special auction with the name “Important Modern & Vintage Timepieces” at New York’s Roosevelt Hotel. Potential buyers from China, Hong Kong, Sinapore and the United Arab Emirates were lured with 275 very special individual timepieces with a total value of $4.7 million dollars.
One of the most sought after watches was a 1968 Patek Philippe Second Series Watch with Arabic dial. The 18-carat gold rarity was sold for $ 867.750 to the highest bidder buyer.
Another coveted piece was a Pre-Daytona Black Dial Rolex from the late 60’s. The 14-carat gold timepiece changed its owner for a price of $201.750. Great interest was created by a rare Omega Constellation Calendar Wristwatch with a famous previous holder: Elvis Presley. The buyer invested “only” $ 37.500 for the extension of his collection.
