The day started with a package of some new goodies arriving, one being the stunning Kreuzberg backpack in Cognac Visetos and the other being a pair of high top sneakers in black. Thanks for dressing us so nicely for the game, MCM!
We met up at the flagship store in London on Conduit street for a quick shuttle to the heliport where we boarded the Flannels chopper towards Manchester. Possibly the best day we could have chosen to fly, the weather was stunning and the sky was clear. With great company on board and a cool selection of product amongst us to talk about, we took to the skies.
With the new backpack full of my general gear including the Sony Alpha, MacBook Pro and other various bits, I realised the attention to detail and craftsmanship on the travel essential. MCM says the following:

The chopper elegantly touched down in Manchester City after what was a stunning ride across the United Kingdom and before we knew it, we were en route towards the Stadium. Flannels being one of the leading luxury retailers for contemporary clothing, footwear and accessories had set up the Tunnel Club for us with reserved seating for food and more goodies at the table including MCM footballs which could later be personalised by graphic artists in the venue! The service, luxury and atmosphere in the Tunnel Club is second to none with amazing friendly staff and welcoming hosts. You are also able to catch the players entering the building which is cool for fans and professionals alike. Private dining suites and personal service is on offer with brilliant service people and a very comfortable environment. Hospitality at its best.
The game was starting and we were seated very conveniently behind the dug-out which enabled us to see the game almost as intimately as the manager and this is where the buzz and energy of the whole Etihad stadium came to life. Unfortunately the game ended 0-0 but it was the Man City trophy celebration that had everyone excited. Fireworks, music and lights exploded as the festivities continued back in to the Tunnel Club.
Aside to our table we had a wall showcasing the latest products from MCM, including backpacks, accessories and bags. We were able to take a look at some of the new pieces and said a final farewell to our hosts from Munich before heading back towards the Helicopter.
All in all a gorgeous day out with the MCM X Flannels team and a great insight in to the MCM heritage, brand and style of doing things! We eagerly anticipate the new collection. Take a look at some of the pictures!
