Philipp Plein Spring/Summer Men Collection 2014
A water arena at dusk, a sultry tune floats over the crowd while a chorus of synchronized swimmers begins a sensuous water ballet .This is the unusual but stylish theme for PHILIPP PLEIN’s Water World fashion show for spring/summer 2015. The show will be accompanied musically by the U.S. Rapper Theophilus London while the models appear on the poolside runway in order to present the latest collection of the German designer.
The collection is characterized by classic naval elements that have been reinterpreted as well as by applications that were sewn together with metal wire. Plein also brings the “color blocking” back in the modern business world and presents stylish monochrome suits in blue, red and white. The collection shows versatile and despite the provocative style perfectly wearable: denim items, leather in alligator and python style and oversized prints were also used again for the upcoming Plein collection.
Philipp Plein about his latest collection:
“I designed this collection for a self-confident man, adventurous and ironic just like me. Water represents energy and power. He is a modern captain, a water world captain.”
