Porsche Design & SONRA present limited-edition sneakers inspired by the Porsche 912

Puristic and functional design paired with sneaker zeitgeist: Porsche Design and the Berlin sneaker label SONRA combine their expertise and present a unique collector’s item: the SONRA “Porsche Design Editon” sneaker, which was inspired by the design elements of the Porsche 912 and its puristic style.

The sneaker brand SONRA stands for extraordinary styles, colors and materials made from environmentally friendly and skin-friendly production in Germany. Hikmet Sugör, designer and founder of the sneaker brand, has a very special fascination with Porsche and Porsche Design. The distinctive, but at the same time sporty and elegant shoe is partly made of vegetable-tanned leather. Naturally grained premium cowhide leather was used for the upper. The slate gray, in combination with red highlights, is reminiscent of the designer’s favorite Porsche vehicle colors – a signal red Porsche 912 is even in possession of Hikmet again today.

Another special feature of the limited and numbered SONRA “Porsche Design Edition” sneaker is the unique branding with the original Porsche 912 lettering. Minimalist design, high quality materials and the demand for perfection reflect the Porsche Design DNA in the shoe.
