Rolex Deepsea D-Blue Dial Edition
The unique Rolex Deepsea D-Blue was recently unveiled by Rolex and is indirectly dedicated to James Cameron’s historic dive to the deepest point of the Earth: The Mariana Trench. This is symbolized by the color gradient. The dial shows up in a bright blue that turns into a deep black. The innovative Chromalight display on the dial extends the limits of visibility in dark environments. The zero marker on the bezel, in the form of a triangle, is also visible in the dark reaches of the ocean.
The innovative and patented architecture of the timepiece ensures exceptional tightness and pressure resistance, which restists massive pressure and dives up to 3,900 meters. Thanks to three elements: nitrogen-alloyed steel central ring forms the backbone of the system, accompanied by a 5 mm‑thick, domed sapphire crystal and a case back in grade 5 titanium.
Furthermore, this special edition features a helium valve and works within with the automatic manufacture Caliber 3135. The timepiece is available for about 10,000 euros.
