The project Itz’Ana Resort & Residences is located in Belize, in Central America. More precisely, in a town called Placencia, nestled between the sea and lagoon. Unspoiled nature where reef meets rainforest – and still the real beauty of this place is impossible to imagine. The world’s second-largest barrier reef is only a stone’s throw and the Mayan ruins are waiting to be explored.
The Boston-based architect, who was responsible for this project grew up in this region himself. This fact is reflected in the forms and materials he used for the interior and exterior. Each house has overwater decks and outdoor pools of course. Move-in dates are anticipated for the end of 2016, while the Resort will open its doors for its visitors winter 2016.
