Being tasked to design the World’s Greenest Eco Resort in Liwa, the southern region of UAE, Baharash Architecture came up with this amazing oasis like gem, which is planned to open in 2020.
Some of the key features that will make this star-shaped resort the World’s Greenest Eco Resort include 157,000 sq.ft of solar panels, providing all the energy needed, a zero-emission zone and onsite waste management. In addition to that the water will be extracted from the ground and waste water will be treated onsite and recycled for irrigation. The resort will feature 84 interconnection suites with outdoor terraces, all offering spectacular views of the spring in the middle.
