Yoga at 1000ft With Amangiri in Utah
Aman was founded in 1988 with the vision of building a collection of intimate retreats with the unassuming, warm hospitality of a gracious private residence.
The first, Amanpuri (place of peace) in Phuket, Thailand, introduced the concept, and since then, Aman has grown to encompass 31 hotels and resorts located in Bhutan, Cambodia, China, Dominican Republic, France, Greece, Indonesia, India, Italy, Japan, Laos, Montenegro, Morocco, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Turkey, the Turks & Caicos Islands, the USA, and Vietnam.
Amangiri – Peaceful Mountain
Close to the Arizona border is Tower Butte, a majestic free standing monolith offering 360 degree views of the Navajo Nation, including Lake Powell, Glen Canyon, the Grand Staircase and the Kaiparowits Plateau.
Guests are flown by helicopter to the top of Tower Butte at sunrise, for a private yoga and meditation experience drawing on the energy of the vast landscape. After a short walk to take in the breathtaking views, Amangiri’s yoga specialist guides guests through a highly personalised fully-integrative movement session.
Surrounded by the stark beauty of North America’s canyon country, Amangiri is located on 600 acres in Canyon Point, Southern Utah. Built around a swimming pool cut from the rock, the resort blends into its dramatic surroundings, offering 34 Suites and an extensive Aman Spa.
